| I'm was a bit relunctant to ask this, but what do you think of my rendition of "Boyz n the hood"? I would make it less cutesy tootsy, and more "I don't give a ****"ish... Instead of having two goody-two shoe guys behaving good in front of a black cop, I would have them beat up the black cop, and laugh and have a contemptuous grin, a look that would read, "Yeah, I just beat the ******* **** out of you. **** with me again, and I'll ******* crack your head open. Huh, in your ******* face, loser." I hate "Boyz n the hood," and I have a plan to make a script that's so hardcore that in Britain, it wouldn't be 15, it would be 18. The look would continue as, "Bully me and my friends again, and I'll be proud to crack your ******* head open with pleasure." The tag line would not be the cutesy, "It ain't no fairy tale," but more like "Some parts of Los Angeles are dangerous after Midnight." I would purposely make it so nihilistic that it would shock mainstream. It would be the ghetto version of "Reservoir Dogs." And my movie poster would be fairly graphic, too, with middle fingers and guns. I would also have a red band trailer! But a real one to shock mainstream America. By the way how the **** did a cutesy pie movie like "Boyz n the hood" have a red band trailer in the first place. It should've had a green band trailer. There's nothing really hardcore about that movie. I mean that ******* black cop just harasses them and smiles at them, and they do NOTHING about it. If it were my movie, it'd be the ultimate "Haha, I ******* did in your face, and you get on my case again, guess what: I'll ******* kick you in the nuts again" kind of movie. There would also be, and I'm not sure that moviemakers have the nerve to go to this extreme, except maybe Quentin Tarantino, pissing on that very same kind of cop. But to show that it's not "Natural Born Killers" (yuck, I hate that movie; I mean most movies there's a reason for killing, but this movie is just too evil for my eyes; I mean at least in "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction," revenge was the reason for most of the killings), I will definitely, like most movies should, have reasons for the killings. Oh yeah, it would be a hard R. It would kinda be the criminal version of "Above the Law," and more nihilistic, with nonstop cursing, and graphic violence (particularly assault and battery), and pissing on a cop. Oh yeah, plenty of "Seinfeld" and "GoodFellas" references, what real-criminals-who-despise-Republicans watch. That would be my movie. No musical score either. It's gonna be entertaining. No melodrama. But a real gritty (surveillance camera)-like depiction of four black criminals who don't care, and a strong message of non-conformity, Soundgarden-style. No comedy, just plain I-ain't-*******-around entertainment. |

| I love both, but for different reasons. I don't think I could choose one over the other. I would however, choose HEAVENLY over both, which Dragonforce bass player, Frédéric Leclercq used to play in. They're so good. |
