Why do black Hooters girls wear "nude" stockings?
Where I live, we just got our first Hooters restaurant and while I've been to Hooters in other areas of the country, I have noticed that, I guess, in all of them, the black women, even the dark skinned ones, where those ugly nude hose. Yes, the nude stockings are a part of the uniform. But, if you are dark-skinned and your manager isn't just some prick that wants to make you look stupid, then they will allow you to pick out a pair that matches your skin tone. Same goes for cocktail waitresses in casinos, tights are required, but you can modify the uniform to your body type. For example, don't know where you live but I've seen a few pretty fat girls working at hooters and as cocktail waitresses, and their skirts and/or shorts are longer than the other girls. It would be discrimination otherwise.

I think royal blue, black, grey, white and maroon are the most common. Its usually dark coloured tights then lighter coloured leo or lighter coloured rights and darker colour leos.

You must be 18 to work in a nude club (nude clubs can not serve alcohol), and 21 for a club with alcohol...at least in LA and Orange County. You will need a dancer's license to work in some cities.

Yes, strippers do pay taxes (or are supposed to). Strippers are independent contractors at most clubs. Independent contractors usually have higher taxes.

Paying a fee to dance, and tipping the DJ, house mom, bouncers, makeup artist, and whoever else is called a house fee or tip out. Not all clubs have these. The fee can vary, and dancers are usually expected to pay before dancing.

Go to a club and ask when auditions are held and how old you must be to dance, if you're under 21. Some other questions you may want to ask are:
-What is the dress code? For example, some clubs do not allow costumes, only gowns.
-How much are lap dances? Dancers make most of their money from lap/couch/table dances.
-Is there a tip out? If so, how much?
-Does the club have lockers?
-Is there a heel height requirement?
-Does the main stage have a pole? (yes, there are strip clubs without poles)

Bring an outfit and heels to the audition, and a CD or have a few songs in mind in case the DJ allows you to pick your own music. You will probably dance to one or two songs, or you may be hired on the spot, depending on the club and management.

At the high-end clubs where I have worked, "fantasy" names are not allowed, only real/believable names, like Jennifer, Amber, etc.

If you have no experience, chances are, you won't be hired at an upscale club. It's best to start at a lower-end club anyway. I don't mean a club that doubles as a brothel or drug lab, but a small, low traffic club. You will have the opportunity to build up your confidence and learn how to dance on stage.
