| Sounds actually like the bra doesn't fit. Being fitted doesn't always mean they've got it right - especially if they use a tape measure. Bravissimo, the Gods of bras, explain that on this page: www.bravissimo.com/perfectfit/get… If they used the 'add 4/5in' thing to your underbust, that might be why you keep on falling out. It leaves you with a band too big and a cup size too small. With that system I'd be a 32C, but I wear a 28F. It's best to measure your under bust and round it to the nearest even number. If they did use a tape measure, you probably measure about 33 or 34 under. This actually puts you in a 34 band size. Now, the cups. Again, if they used a tape measure you probably measure about 43in over. In the UK, you'd probably measure as a 34G. In the USA that's about a 34I. However, to go with what Bravissimo say, you shouldn't really use a tape measure. It's a rough guide for people who need a starting point. It sounds ridiculous, but it really isn't. It's the same cup volume as a 38G, which is 2 cup sizes up from what you're wearing at the moment, and it makes sense as to why you keep on falling out of it. Go to a store that specialises in plus sizes and try on different sized bras. The previous fitter sounds like they got the completely wrong size. Even if the band fits, you should go up a cup size. Follow the Bravissimo website I linked. Start with the band. This suit works wonders, but the small was too big for me because I am small around too. But it might work for you! Theres a ton of different colors too. | What is a good body shaper? I know there are a lot of body shapers out there. But the "good" ones are dramatically expensive. And many are uncomfortable. I currently have one I purchases off Amazon called "Annets secret weapon body shaper". That shaper was around $80.00. It defiantly helps, But that's way too expensive and I'm due for a new one (one of the straps broke-And I would just like to have more than one). It has an open bust, it doesn't have clasps in the front so it doesn't have that bulky look like a lot of shapers, It is a full body shaper so it doesn't cut into my bikini line causing discomfort, It isn't just a top where it can roll up and it doesn't cut off mid thigh where you have a bulge. Of course it serves its purpose in tummy control and "back fat control", But shapers can only do so much. Overall, It's great, But I'm looking for one a LOT cheaper and I would LOVE to have just a top shaper, But I'm always afraid they are going to roll up. Not only is that uncomfortable, It makes you look sloppy and is a waist of money. I'm in the process of loosing weight, But until I reach my goal I want to look as thin as possible. Are there any recommendations on a body shaper I should purchase? I'm looking to shop online and not internationally. I want something that's a good quality and cheap as possible. | Is this diet and exercise plan enough to become fit by the middle of may? i'm aware i didn't start as soon as i should have, but my semester ends i think around may 10, but then i also have summer classes at some point, so i technically have some extra time before i can prance around in a bikini. so here are my stats (i don't even know if that helps, but just for detail purposes): height: 5'7" weight: 140 lbs waist: 26 in hips: 35 in bust/cup: 34D exercise (open to suggestions): my brother-in-law is a gym rat so he is having me do a ton of arm and leg weights (we did about 5 or 6 of each), 3 different ab exercises, squats, and five minutes of running on the treadmill at the end. i usually do 30 minutes of elliptical when i go by myself, so i would incorporate that as well. diet (found online, seemed doable): - breakfast: 6 egg whites omelet made with fresh vegetables, 1 tbsp peanut butter over an apple or banana - snacks: 3-4 celery sticks with 2 tbsp peanut butter, sugar free yogurt, 2 tablespoons almonds or other nut of choice, ½ can salmon spread over 3-4 low sodium crackers - lunch: 1 can of tuna or 3 oz. lean chicken breast, 2 cups fresh romaine lettuce, sliced carrots, celery and baby tomatoes, 2 tbsp olive oil based salad dressed - dinner: 6 oz grilled chicken breast, 2 cups stir-fried vegetables in 1 tbsp olive oil - drinking only water or tea, occasional diet coke since it's hard for me to resist i'm just wondering if these combined would be enough for me to tone up in a month-ish. my problem areas are my thighs, triceps, and stomach (like all girls). let me know and please list any improvements! also, would something like slimquick along with this workout and diet help? thank you! =) |
| it does help, but you shouldnt eat the same things everyday. And try doing things like in weight watchers, you can eat the food you like, but little parts of it. Also you should run and exercise for a hour a day. Little by little you lose weight each week, like 3 or 4 pounds a week. |

I'm also trying to lose some weight, people tell me I don't need to, but I feel fat and not as skinny as I could be. Can someone give me some effective exercises to tone my arms, abs, and thighs? I eat healthy and barely ever have any junk food, and the ideal weight I'm shooting for is about 120. The kind of swimsuit I'm looking for ideally would have to deal with boardshorts and a nice halter style top. (Like a normal bikini top) I'm open to most colors, but would prefer black or blue with different colors. | Umbilical Hernias... do they correct themselves? Does anyone know about umbilical hernias, if they are hereditary (because my other 2 guys didn't have one), and if they actually correct themselves? This may sound mean, but I'm more concerned because this is a baby girl. I probably wouldn't be asking this, if were one of my 2 sons, but girls are self conscious about their bodies, like to wear bikinis and get their belly buttons pierced etc. I'm sorry, but this is hideous looking, especially when she cries. It pokes out at least an inch, and it even scares me a little, because it looks like it is going to bust opened. I know this is sounds superficial, but I want her to be proud of her body, and never ashamed of it, so I will do whatever needs to be done to achieve this for her. The Dr. told me it is only cosmetic at this point, because her intestines haven't entered the opening. If that happened, she would have immediate surgery to correct the deformity. Other than that, she doesn't like to correct it cosmetically, until the age of 5, because sometimes they do correct themselves. Any info on this would be appreciated. |
| It usually does because one of my girls had it. I must say it did correct it self before she was 5. I'm sure each guy and case is different. If you do have some concerns then I would recommend seeking a second opinion. |
